The centre and its environmental features
The center is set in a nice moderned medieval farm in the middle of a preserved nature, authorized to receive people with disabilities. Surrounded by its park of 10 hectares of ecologic gardens, prairies and forests, crossed by a charming little river. Maybe you’ll meet our animal friends, living their lives : rabbits, donkeys, chickens and our queen « Kounie », the grumpy sow.

In the heart of the regional natural park of Livradois-Forez Mountain, close to the charming city of Thiers, famous for its long history of cutlery, the center is also easily connected to the famous volcanoes of Auvergne, the capital of Auvergne, Clermont-Ferrand (less than one hour drive) and the region capital Lyon (less than one-and-half hour)

Environmental education programmes available and learning opportunities
The center has a skilled pedagogical team. They can organize a lot of workshops about wild plants, gardens, solar energy, eco-building, essential oils, etc. Also, they can provide some specific supports to help camp leaders to build an ecological and democratic scout camp : team management, ecologicalorganisation, children-democracy, etc.
Environmental Management, policy and practices
The center team is constantly working to make its practices and environnemental values consistent, and limit the ecological impact of its activities and everyday life. The food is organic, mostly plant based always without meat. We limit our wastes, have compost bins, upcycle or recycle. We use dry toilets, share vehicles, use free softwares and clouds, etc.
